Sebelumnya, kita sudah belajar cara konfigurasi dasar EIGRP disini

Pada kesempatan kali ini, kita akan belajar bagaimana cara filtering EIGRP menggunakan distribute-list. Tujuannya adalah melakukan filtering pada network network tertentu.

Pada distribute-list ini sendiri dibagi menjadi 2, yakni IN dan OUT. Pada artikel kali ini kita hanya akan membahas tentang distribute-list in.

Apasih distribute-list in tersebut ? distribute-list in sendiri akan menolak update routing tabel dari neighbour router yang akan masuk ke router tersebut.

Langsung saja ke bagian lab nya, topologi yang akan digunakan seperti ini.

Untuk lab kali ini, kita menggunakan lab yang sudah dipakai pada lab konfigurasi dasar eigrp.

Untuk konfigurasinya EIGRP Filtering Distribute List sendiri seperti ini

Router(config)#access-list <number> deny <Network ID> <Wildcard Mask>
Router(config)#access-list <number> permit any
Router(config)#router eigrp <AS Number>
Router(config-router)# distribute-list <access-list number> in

Sekenario pada lab kali ini adalah R2 tidak akan mendapatkan advertised routing tabel dari router lainnya, sehingga, R4 dan R5 hanya akan melihat R1 dan R3 saja yang bisa menghubungkan mereka.

Ketika sudah melakukan penambahan konfig distribute-list, maka terjadilah proses resync dikarenakan konfigurasi yang berubah

Saat ini, R2 sudah tidak mendapatkan routing tabel dari network yang tadi kita masukkan dalam filtering.
